Dear Valued Guest,
Welcome to Playa De Sala, we are greatly honored to have have you as our
guest and will strive to ensure that you will have an enjoyable and memorable
stay. We strongly strive to provide quality service and in return we request for
the strict compliance of the following:

Please lock your windows and doors before going to sleep to ensure security.
Visitors are not allowed to stay inside the room beyond 10:00 pm. An extra
charge / joiners fee shall be added to your account should they decide to stay
beyond this time.
Please use the the safe available in your room to store valuables.
The hotel shall not be held liable for any loss or damage of valuables in your
Smoking inside the room is prohibited (Fine = $500.00). Guests are only
allowed to smoke on balconies and outside.
In case of stains, the following charges may apply:
Stained towel = $10.00 * Stained bed sheets: $50.00
Stained blanket = $100.00 * Stained pillow case = $10.00
Possession and/or use of flammable materials such as candles, incense,
aromatic substances, mosquito coil, firecrackers, etc. is strictly prohibited.
Use of fireworks and possession of firearms are prohibited.
Damages to the hotel property and equipment due to improper use or
carelessness shall be charged to your account. Charges may vary.
Kindly turn off the shower and all the faucets, lights, television, air conditioner
and other electronic devices after use and before leaving your room.
Rooms are serviced daily. Should you wish to have your bedding changed
please inform front desk staff and it will be arranged for you.
Place dirty towels on the floor to be collected and replaced. Towels on the rack
or anywhere else inside the room means “I will re-use again.”

Check-in time is 2:00pm. Check-out time is 11:00am. Upon checking out
please allow 2 minutes for the room attendant to check the room before you
leave. Turn in keys to the office upon checking out.
(Lost Key Charge: $150 USD)
For late checkout (subject to availability), the following charges apply:
• 12:00 noon to 6:00pm = 50% of room rate
• 6:00pm onward =100% of room rate.
To expedite departure, it is advisable to settle your account 30 minutes before
checking out.
Personal cheques are not accepted. Cash and major credit cards ONLY.
All additional charges are in USD.
Family pets are allowed in the rooms. There is a $50.00 per day charge for
pets. Pets cannot be left alone in the rooms. Guests are responsible for any
damage caused by pets.
During the evenings, please minimize noise and turn down tv volume to avoid
disturbing other guests.
Please do not dispose of any paper into toilets, please use waste bins provided.
Please place all trash in the trash bins.
It is agreed that the guest will conduct him/herself in a respectable manner and
will not cause any nuisance or annoyance within the hotel premises. The
Management has the right to request any guest to vacate his/her room or other
areas of the hotel forthwith, without prior notice, and the guest shall be bound to
vacate when requested to do so.
Guests are also requested to observe, abide and be bound by all applicable
Rules and Regulations, Acts and Laws of Belize.


Check-in /Check-out Policy:
Rates quoted are based on check-in date and length of stay. Should you
depart prior to the departure date confirmed for any reason, the hotel may
impose on a early departure fee. A deposit of 50% is required to book a room
through the office. Online bookings require full payment at the time of booking.
Arrival Time:
Your reservation will be held until your check-in arrival date. To hold the room
beyond your check-in arrival date, a credit card guarantee of payment must be
received prior to the designated hold time. Rooms may not be available until
after the reserved designated check-in time. Occupancy prior to check-in time
on the date of the reservation cannot be guaranteed dependent on availability
and payment for the previous night received by the hotel prior to arrival.
Rate Rules / Restrictions:
Rates are confirmed in the currency of USD dollars unless otherwise
specified in your confirmation details. Rates confirmed are for the number of
occupants listed in your email confirmation, per room, per night and do not
include additional charges or additional guests and will apply only to rooms
booked as a part of this reservation.
Cancellations are permitted up to 999 hours prior to check-in time without
cancellation fees. There are no refunds for no-shows, airline delays, strikes,
political unrest or acts of God, including hurricanes.

Refund rates are as follows:
• 91 + days prior to arrival - 95% refund
• 60 -90 days prior to arrival - 45% refund
• 45 days or less prior to arrival - No refund
Travel insurance is recommended.
Cancellation of reservations for which payment was guaranteed or for which a
deposit has been sent must reach the hotel by the hotel’s local hold time on the
cancellation date to avoid your credit card being charged or forfeiture of your

reservation is canceled by the date and time specified in your email
confirmation details. Please make a note of your cancellation number for your

customer has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity or under other
circumstances where it appears that the reservations contain or resulted from a
