Golf carts are the most popular and convenient mode of transportation on the island, and we are happy to assist with your golf cart rental (just let us know in advance!). San Pedro and Ambergris Caye are very safe, and our neighborhood of Tarpon Bay benefits from 24/7 patrols by the South Ambergris Caye Neighborhood Watch, offering guests peace of mind whether traveling by day or night.

La Fonda De Nilo Restaurant - This is a small local run restaurant and might be the best quality food around. Very reasonably priced and cooked in a pizza style wood fired oven on site.
Marin’s Grocery Store - If you’re looking for a convenience store to get some beers, snack or other small supplied, Marin’s Grocery store is down the road from us. It’s about an 8 min golf cart or 15min bike ride.
Super Buy South Supermarket - it’s one of the fully stocked supermarket’s on the southside of San Pedro Town, carrying a lot of food items, and wine selections. It’s right infront of The Baker where you can grab morning breakfast or fresh bread daily.
The Baker - is a very small bakery on the way to us - they bake bread daily and offer breakfast options as-well as coffee option.
La Divina Providencia - is a restaurant convenitnely located on the residential area of Escalante Subdivision, 15min ride from us. It’s unique offering of Pupusas make it an ideal restaurant to try out! Their food is great. Pupusas is a salvadorean dish it is a thick corn tortilla that can be stuffed with various fillings, including various meats, refried beans, and cheese - so yummy!
Toast Seaside Boozery - Great beachside restaurant located beachside to Mahogany Bay Resort they are kid friendly! At the south end of Ambergris Caye, accepts credit cards, has bar and live music.
Hidden Treasure Restaurant - is a fine dine restaurant, they offer pickup and drop off options if you’re looking to visit the. Their setting is very beautiful and they are only open most day from 4-10pm. You can also take a drive there - if you find “La Divina Restaurant”, take a right turn and you found the Hidden Treasure!
South Gas Station - Golf carts are gas fueled, usually a tank will last about 4-5 days depending on your driving, it’s best to check regularly. Normally rentals will issue 1/2 or a full tank and you just return, same way provided. If you need gas, the closest gas station to us is Caribena South Gas station, open daily. It’s located about 15 mins from us, on your way back to town! It’s very easy to located as it’s on an intersection on the main road.
