After the fishermen were safely returned to Jamaica, the boat remained in Belize. Playa De Sala acquired this boat and transformed it into the vibrant and iconic We Jammin' Boat Bar.

The story begins with three Jamaican fishermen from Westmoreland, Jamaica, who set sail for a fishing trip, only to face a mechanical failure that left them adrift for 25 days in the Caribbean Sea. Miraculously, their boat washed ashore at Ambergris Caye, where the community greeted them with warmth, ensuring their safe return to Jamaica.

While the fishermen went home, their vessel remained, its journey now a part of Belize’s vibrant history. Playa De Sala, recognizing the boat's unique story, acquired it and turned it into the lively We Jammin' Boat Bar. This iconic bar now serves up tropical cocktails, cold drinks, and reggae beats, providing visitors a one-of-a-kind experience while soaking in the Caribbean sun.
